Michel Demont

One of the founding Directors of Rarebooks.info in 2001, Michel Demont has a background in business and finance (MBA from HEC in 1972). From 1984 to 1998, he was Senior Manager, then Partner, then Senior Partner in charge of the financial sector of KPMG Peat Marwick Consultants Europe. From 1998 to 2001 he was Vice President of CSC (Computer Science Corporation). Since November 2001, he is Chairman and CEO of AURINVEST, a Paris-based investment company. Michel Demont is also a Benefactor of the International Association of Bibliophiles and has been a collector of rare French editions of literature for more than three decades.



Sandra Hindman
Director of International Operations

With a background in art history, specializing in medieval manuscripts and early printed books, Sandra Hindman holds degrees from the University of Chicago, the University of California, Berkeley, and Cornell University (Ph.D.). She is author of numerous articles and nine books. Professor Emerita of Art History at Northwestern University, where she was twice Chair of the department, Dr. Hindman is the owner of Les Enluminures (Paris and Chicago). She joined the team of Rarebooks.info in January 2001, and she became a Director in May 2002. She supervises the bibliography feature and oversees international marketing initiatives.
